FENNIE+MEHL Architects is a San Francisco based firm offering expertise
in design and project development of commercial, institutional, and
multi-family residential developments. Founded in 1997 by principal
partners, Ned Fennie and Doug Mehl, the firm has established itself as a
premier architectural company with an outstanding reputation for excellence
in the planning and design of both large and small scale projects. We are
committed to design excellence that serves our clients at all levels.
Our broad and diverse collective experience base provides a solid depth of
design expertise over an exceptionally wide range of project types. This
rich accumulated experience forms the basis of a firm that is results
orientated, and able to adapt quickly to an ever-changing world. Our
seasoned staff from the partners on down are all client responsive and
provide personalized hands-on involvement throughout each stage of every
project.
Our unique firm structure allows us to focus on design solutions, which
provide the highest value to our clients. We have refined project
communications to provide a smooth project delivery system where everyone
looks good at the point of move-in and thereafter.
We proactively monitor the project schedule and budget throughout the design
and construction stages of the project. We first ensure that the initial
expectations are realistic and then constantly review the project design for
opportunities to save our clients both time and money at each step in the
